Description:
Optical module also be called optical fiber module, the translation should be transceiver module. The function of the optical module is the photoelectric conversion, and the transmitter converts the electrical signal into the optical signal. After the transmission through the optical fiber, the receiving end converts the optical signal into the electrical signal. SFP is a kind of optical module.
SFP-1000BASE-Tx Copper Small Form Pluggable (SFP) transceivers are based on the SFP Multi Source Agreement (MSA) . They are compatible with the 10base-T / 100base-Tx/1000Base-T standards as specified in IEEE Std 802.3 . SFP-100BASE-T uses the SFP's RX_LOS pin for link indication. If pull up SFP's TX_DISABLE pin, SWITCH IC be reset.
