40G LR4 QSFP+ optical module principle
The 40G LR4 QSFP + optical module is commonly used with LC single-mode fiber hopping, with a maximum transmission distance of 10 km, and it has four data channels that transmit data simultaneously. The advantages of the 40G LR4 QSFP+ optical module are high density, low cost, high speed, large capacity and low power consumption.
The working principle of the 40G LR4 QSFP + optical module is that the laser driver controls the arrival wavelength, and the optical signal is then multiplexed and transmitted together. Nearly reaching the receiver, these transmitted signals are then decomposed into four 10 Gbps channels by the demultiplexer, and then the PIN detector or the Interimpedance amplifier restores the data stream and transmits the optical signal out.
