Outdoor direct buried fiber cable is a kind of transmission cable which is especially designed to be buried under the ground without any extra covering or piping to protect it.There is steel wires or steel tape at the protection layer of the cable.It can directly buried at the ground,with the function of bearing physical damage and preventing soil corrosion.It can be applied to WAN/LAN telecommunication and harsh environmental conditions such as steep hills, rivers, etc.
Loose tube(or some fillers) stranded around the metal central strength member to form the cable core,the cable core longitudinally bound by aluminum ployethylene laminate,further bonded to the PE inner jacket,moisture barrier and then corrugated steel tape laminated with polyethylene on both sides,the PE outer jacket consisted of medium density polyethylene extruded under vacuum condition.

B:the tubes,cable core and all interstices are filled with moisture-proof gel and compound ,prevent water ingress longitudinally.
C:The corrugated steel tape laminated at both sides with polyethylene and bonding to PE inner sheath possesses the function of radial moisture-proof for the cable
E:Longitudinal water blocking tape at the inner side of the steel tape tightly bonded to the MDPE sheath ensures radial moisture-proof and reinforces mechanical crush resistance as well as prevents water ingress longitudinally.
